Another 26 bands join the Download lineup!


It’s just seven weeks and five days until Download Festival opens its gates once more, but they’re not finished with announcing bands just yet – and today they’ve confirmed another batch to take to the various stages at Donington Park this summer – and there are still a number of big names in the mix!

Taking up theIt’s just seven weeks and five days until Download Festival opens its gates once more, but they’re not finished with announcing bands just yet – and today they’ve confirmed another batch to take to the various stages at Donington Park this summer – and there are still a number of big names in the mix! Taking up the final headline slot on the third stage this year are pop punk legends Yellowcard, with thrash icons Suicidal Tendencies topping the fourth stage bill on Sunday as well. The announcement also includes Welsh rockers Funeral for a Friend, Corrosion of Conformity, Italian outfit Lacuna Coil, the awesome 36 Crazyfists and the might of UK death metallers Carcass. There’s also the likes of supergroups Krokodil and Antemasque (featuring members from The Mars Volta and At the Drive-In), Malefice, Canadian rockers Three Days Grace, Upon a Burning Body – who are making up for last year’s no-show – and a flavour of Scandinavia in the shape of Finns Von Hertzen Brothers and Sweden’s Blues Pills.
