Damnation Festival 2015: five additions to line up announced


US riff worshipers HIGH ON FIRE and Dutch death metal veterans ASPHYX will make their Damnation Festival debuts this winter.

The duo will be joined by Norwegian black metallers VREID, progressive European collective THE OCEAN and England’s very own doom stalwarts THE WOUNDED KINGS.

The latest additions will play across four stages at Leeds University Union, onSaturday, November 7, at the 11th installment of theUS riff worshipers HIGH ON FIRE and Dutch death metal veterans ASPHYX will make their Damnation Festival debuts this winter. The latest additions will play across four stages at Leeds University Union, onSaturday, November 7, at the 11th installment of the UK’s finest metal event – which will be headlined by At The Gates. High on Fire will release their highly anticipated seventh studio album this summer, entitled Luminiferous. Sure to continue where 2012’s De Vermis Mysteriis left off, expect cathartic aggression, molten heavy metal and a hell of a lot of riffs.
