For someone that might sound like absolute dream and for Satyr it is how the grandiose dream came true. Live At The Opera Satyricon is one of the iconic Norwegian black metal bands – there is no big introduction needed. They released 8 full-length albums and countless EP, singles, splits.. and now there is live album and DVD “Live At The Opera” to add to all this solid discography. Only the idea of Satyricon cooperating with Norwegian National Opera chorus gives the shivers and all this hour and a half spent watching the DVD did not seem too long. Although the camera work is not as brilliant as it could be, Satyr’s wish was not to disturb audience with camera cranes in the front was fair enough and the view is still enjoyable.
